ABOUT

Jess Burgess is a Brooklyn-based producer. After graduating from NYU in 2011 with honors, she began work as a non-union AD for any project she could get her hands on. By 2015, she was freelancing as a PM for the biggest agencies in New York, quickly becoming a line-producer and producer.

Outside of commercial work, Jess was able to produce the documentary feature Good Ol Girl, which was slated to premiere at SXSW in 2020. She founded Little Animals Pictures that same year – a production company dedicated to queer voices

Since the pandemic, Little Animals has found great success by pivoting into the VR sphere while maintaining its roots as a full-service production company for music videos and online content.

She is currently running her company full time and developing the feature script, Don’t Leave Me.
